IRVINE, Calif. (July 20, 2009) – RiechesBaird, a brand creation and development firm specializing in building the value of B2B companies, today announced senior executive appointments in a series of wide-ranging moves structured to support the company’s future growth and expansion. Under the new leadership, the firm also launched a company rebrand, as well as a new Web site.

Senior Vice President Alan Brew and Executive Vice President Derek Wilksen have become principals of the firm. RiechesBaird also announced the company’s merger with Dula Image Group. Michael Dula, founding principal, joins RiechesBaird to lead the development and growth of its corporate design and identity capabilities as a visual brand strategist. Additionally, Tim Price has been promoted to verbal brand strategist.

Announcing the moves, Ryan Rieches, CEO, said, “Ray Baird and I are very excited to welcome Alan and Derek as business partners at RiechesBaird. We have grown the company carefully over the past 15 years to achieve pre-eminence in Southern California; now is the right time to put key people in place for growth and to consolidate our reputation nationally.”

Immediately following the leadership changes, RiechesBaird completed a firm-wide rebrand, including a revamp of its Web site. The changes come just after the recent launch of the B2B Brand Debate blog RiechesBaird spearheaded with partner agencies, aimed at reaching marketers in the B2B world as well as those interested in branding strategies for companies.

“Incorporating our firm’s rebrand and new Web site features demonstrate the importance of maintaining a relevant and fresh brand in today’s economy – something we counsel clients on, and that we knew was the right move for RiechesBaird as well,” said Baird. “This commitment to our own brand, coupled with the convergence of such an outstanding team of strategic and creative talent is a significant step towards our vision of building and creating the world’s greatest B2B brands.”

Brew joined RiechesBaird two years ago from Siegel & Gale, where he was managing director of the Los Angeles office. At RiechesBaird, he is responsible for the brand strategy group and also leads the national energy practice, working with clients such as Encana of Canada, EQT and PG&E Corp.

Wilksen, who has been with the company 14 years, has overall responsibility for integrated marketing and manages key client relationships, including those with Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., and Entergy Corporation.

Dula has more than 26 years of design experience with client work that includes Paramount Studios, American Express and Viacom. Founder of Dula Image Group, he brings world-class creative talent to RiechesBaird. As visual brand strategist, Dula will be responsible for corporate identity development and its “visual vocabulary,” or look and feel.

Price joined RiechesBaird in 1996 and brings more than 17 years of industry experience to the creative product process. An award-winning copywriter, Price oversees all aspects of RiechesBaird’s creative strategy and execution – specializing in name development, re-naming processes and corporate identity development.
