RIECHESBAIRD WINS FIRST PLACE AT BUSINESS MARKETING ASSOCIATION’S ACE AWARDS

IRVINE, California - July 28, 2008 - RiechesBaird, a brand creation and development firm that specializes in building the value of B2B companies, has won first place for “Brand Identity Materials” in the Brand Design category at the Business Marketing Association’s 2008 ACE Awards in New York. The winning entry was created on behalf of its client, Neovia, a healthcare benefits broker based in Santa Barbara, Calif.

The ACE Awards recognize the year's top creative campaigns and executions, the professionals who conceive them, and the agencies and clients who have successfully elevated brands and driven demand.

The winning entry from RiechesBaird stemmed from a comprehensive repositioning and rebranding campaign aimed at supporting future growth and expansion of its client. A new name, Neovia (a coined conjunction of “neo” and “via” that represents a “new way”), was developed to crystallize its Client Care Advocacy model as a brand proposition and communicate its dedication to “fixing the broken healthcare system.” The original company name, Integrated Insurance Services, was retained as a tagline with Neovia both for continuity with existing customers and positioning purposes, while the holistic green “sprig” logo represents the emergence of a new way forward.

An extensive corporate identity package—including logo, corporate stationery and collateral material designs—captured the quality, spirit and integrity of the organization. RiechesBaird conducted formal brand adoption training over a two-month period and the brand was officially launched on April 1.

For more than 25 years, the Business Marketing Association of New York City has brought together the industry's creative elite in what The New York Times has hailed as "one of the industry's best creative awards." The 2008 ACE Awards set an all-time record, with 436 entries from across the United States and from as far away as Australia. This is the second time RiechesBaird has been recognized by the organization.
